I live in Penketh it's so cute! But Warrington itself ain't as great. Ehh I dnt mind it; I don't see myself coming back here later though =]

Lol at least you got on the list!! Widnes is nowhere in sight and is even more of a one horse town than you reckon Warrington is.... You have decent shops, Widnes is a town full of Charity shops, even the market is rubbish since they moved it.... Have fun no matter what course you go on and wherever, you'll meet new people and that's a start :o)

Part of Chester university is in padgate/ fearnhead area. Was gona go there to do media but changed my mind want to do art in salford now :)

Well i have lived in Warrington for 13 years. All the Uni's i've applied for out miles away, guess why? So many Uni's in Britain, why on earth would you chose warrington? Actually what is the Uni like, i didnt realise we had one????

warrington has to be the most boring place in the whole world, lived here all my life n can't wait to get out. i live in Culcheth (a small village on the outskirts, though i have lived slat bang in the town center so your getting a wide view of the town here) THERE IS NOTHING TO DO!!!! unless you like shopping, but there is only so many times you can go to topman in a week (and only so much money to spend)
anyhoo i suppose its ok, just not when you've lived here for 18 years lol

I live and work in Warrington, I think it's absolutely brilliant! The shopping is good, they have just opened up the new Golden Square which kind of looks like the Trafford Centre, but obviously it's like 100x smaller! And the nightlife is brilliant. I recommended Jenerics for the University of Chester students. It's on Insall road and it's a Chinese. They deliver to the campus and the food is amazing!!!! x

Warrington's ok, wouldn't wanna go to uni there though. N Tim Curry and Pete Postlethwaite were born in the warrington area, probably better to brag about than Kerry Katona!

warrington hmmmm...
not exactly the classiest place in the country but it has basically everything a student would want i.e plenty of pubs, clubs and pound shops, but I'm glad I'm a born 'n' bred Warringtonian.

wazzas alright not the best place. night lifes ok if your with your mates, tues and thurs -student night are best if your a skint student like meself :-p

well i live in birchwood in warrington and that about 30 sec walk from the uni and there nuff around but the NIGHT LIFE it good in town butit better with the people u go with
