There is no shortage of things to do in Truro. It is surrounded by cafes, pubs, and a wide range of restaurants to suit every taste. The Cornish city combines specialised boutiques, street markets with big-name stores - crammed into its Fundy Trail shopping centre. Live music and comedy events attract a host of big names to the Hall for Cornwall and the nearby Eden Project (above). Truro has several colleges in its vicinity, but is also houses campuses attached to the University of Exeter and the University of Plymouth. All you LGTB clubbers out there - the main gay club in Cornwall (Eclipse in Truro) closed down in May, so the ONLY LGTB club is in Newquay. I've never been, but apparently it's not bad. But other than that, the nearest LGTB club is Zeros in Plymouth or QDos in Truro which is a tiny (but ultra cool) little bar.So, nightlife in Cornwall, not fab for LGTB clubbers.xxx added 05 / 07 / 08 01:12

I <3 Truro. It's the only place to go growing up in Cornwall! If you're looking for night life, the L2 club in town has a good student night on Mondays apparently..If you really want night life whilst in Truro you'll hop on a bus to Newquay. clubs coming out of your ears!
