For the lads: there are two girls to every fella in the city meaning Des is a lucky bloke. For the ladies: shoe making is the chief industry together with the largest market square in the country. Northampton's got a very cosy nightlife, plenty of gigs going on too. If you're into intimate live gigs, try and find a friend who's been to the Labour Club (opp the former Soundhaus Club). Great bands from all over europe play there, and free too. added 31 / 08 / 08 02:12

I am from Northampton but going to luton this year. its a grat town with a good night life. Reflex above Edwards on the drapery can be good fun. the shops are ok but MK is just down the road with a good rail and bus connection so easy to get too.
