hey there is nothin wrong with Whitehill, or Hillhouse but ur right about Burnbank, duno about Eddlewood or Fairhill though never lived there, but ive lived in Hillhouse and Whitehill and they are pretty nice areas. So ok every area has its lil bad street but all in all there alright trust me.

Your allright unless your car brakes down in Whitehill, Fairhill, Burnbank, Eddlewood, Hillhouse, or even parts of Silvertonhill late at night.
Then again, even the "bad areas" only really have a few hotspots.
For example, the Spar in E-Wood.
The toon is allright though. Limitied for shops, no decent record store, but two Greggs. And lots of Oldies
Hamilton is the Teets

Hamilton is great...ur away from the busy city but still close enough to get there easily...has a couple of good pubs and theres the palace too(nightclub). Its pretty central...u can go out in east kilbride, motherwell and glasgow easily. Good shopping centre but again close enough to ek and glasgow if u dnt find what ur looking for!
Like everywhere it has good and bad areas.

Ignore the above, Hamilton is an average TOWN, has a good sized shopping area, has good amenities and great leisure activites.
The best bit about it tho, is it has a train station and for a few quid, u are only less than 30 mins to get into Glasgow city centre, where the nightlife really is.
Few good pubs, nice theatre,Big asda, nice cinema, good shopping area, great resteraunts and leisure centres.
