There’s more to do than you think in Dudley, set in the Black Country. It's a product of a rich industrial heritage, transforming this corner of the world over 200 years ago. A maze of canals snake around the town, which has a diverse selection of pubs, takeaways and restaurants. You’re a stone’s throw away from the ‘Balti capital of the Black Country’ in Stourbridge and Wolverhampton, a major uni town with nightlife to match. It's the second largest town in the UK and hosts 10,000 students from September onwards each year. Chat about life at uni in the West Midlands

Dudley bloke, born and bred. Try 'The Lamp' for dirt cheap prices for the great 'Bathams' bitter. Also, 'The Foundry' and 'Jbs' are a must for the rockier of us...just a few of my old haunts ;) added 24 / 08 / 07 09:34
