well..now i can surely say that bradford isnt a bad place to live. Actually i visited the place a week ago and its fabulous. Unlike london where i spent a day theres always a hectic life..people are a hurry and then its so over crowded i think...Bradford on the other hand is a peaceful city... its not expensive comparatively and the weather is also good plus if the talk is about the nightlife i think it has decent number of bars n clubs to accomodate the small population of bradford and then...

Bradfordion since birth. The town is dead. A lack of music scene where perhaps the best exports are Terrorvision, the bassist of Franz Ferdinand and some flibbertigibbit in Girls Aloud/ Atomic etc... The centre has a Walkabout, Livingstones, Revolution and flares and a place Lindguards where everyone does Gak apparently. Lots of Pubs, and a lack of shops. Recreation includes Swimming, Bowling, gambling at the 2 major casino or going to the cinema at £5 a student ticket *or more* Need I say more?

er im a bradford born & bred..i think its wikid to live here..ofcourse it might get boring at times (it's not exactly America) but we have pride in our multi cultural society and all the fab resturants.. if u dont have anything positive to say then don't bother posting your sleazy comments x_x

Personally I like going out in Bradford as you don't get posers or celeb wantabees that you do in Leeds or Manchester.
Leeds and Manchester are place to seen and they are real expensive.
You can get great cocktails, but only if you know where to look and believe me I have had many a good night out well into the early morning in Bradford - my nights in Leeds and Manchester ended up with loads of police and fight NO TA you can keep that.

I've lived in bradford all my life, for those of you who ACTUALLY care about Architecture of Bradford i think you'll find the town hall most interesting: Built in 1869 with a 217 foot tower - impressive for the time, that info i just gathered from History of City Hall - a braford website lol - Nightlife aint TOO bad, we got Walkabout (has as every city) bambooza which is owned by livingstones (so basically it's a smaller livi's but has it's own character) Flares for those 80s nights. come b4 uni

the nightlife in Bradford sucks for all those who are looking for a specific theme, specific music etc. but you still have Leeds close, if u like to have a fancy cocktail instead of the ordinary vodka red bull:)

The University of Bradford
Bradford's architecture sucks, yeah.
I mean, a horizon domindated by dilapidated 1950's prefab warehouses and factories isn't exactly the most pleasing thing to the eye;
But apart from that, being a Norfolk country-boy, I've actually enjoyed it here.
For night life off-campus there is plenty! WalkAbout, Revolutions (With a rock night on Wednesdays), Flares, PickWicks (Dubstep), RedSquare, Bamboozle;
Methinks Josef just hasn't bothered looking!

For night life there is something going on every night on-campus ranging from Rock and Metal nights, to RnB and dubstep nights to accommodate for all music tastes, not to mention Flirt every Friday with different themes to make it even better!
