yougofurther.co.uk is a website for students at or about to go to higher education in the UK. The site enables students to meet new friends, stay in touch with old friends, share student experiences in the forums and get some great deals in the yougo shop. Students can also show off their talents in exposure, find a job and get some great help and advice on money issues, health and fitness as well as learn where to travel and what’s the latest in music and film.

Yougofurther.co.uk (yougo.co.uk) is operated by UCAS Media Ltd. By using the yougofurther website, the user is deemed to consent to all terms and conditions set out below. If you have any questions regarding the terms and conditions, you should contact the Director of Business Development at UCAS Media Ltd.

The job section of the yougofurther website is provided by targetjobs.co.uk. By registering for yougofurther you are also registering as a user of targetjobs.co.uk which is a service provided by GTI. Your current registration will automatically be extended to the targetjobs.co.uk service and your registration details, including personal data, will be passed to GTI and held by the company to be used for the purpose of communicating with you in relation to careers advice, job and further study opportunities and for conveying related marketing and advertising solely through the doctorjob.com service. Your personal data will be held confidentially by GTI and the company will not sell on or allow other organisations to use your data, nor use the information for any purpose other than that specified.

If we deem any materials to be offensive, unlawful, vulgar, defamatory, fraudulent, threatening or otherwise unsuitable, or if we think they infringe any other proprietary rights, we reserve the right to remove these materials immediately and without obligation.

Prizes, Competitions & Incentives
Neither UCAS Media Limited nor any promotional partner will be use data received from the competitions for the purposes of communication, other than to inform prize winners. Winners will be notified by email or post. Winners' names may be published on the yougofurther website.

All competition entries must be made before the specific competition closing date displayed on the website. No late entries will be accepted. At the option of UCAS Media Limited, the competition entry date may be extended by a period no less than a period of technical downtime falling within control of UCAS Media Limited. However, UCAS Media Limited aims to provide website services for the majority of the competition or prize draw period.

UCAS Media Limited will not be held responsible for any technical failures beyond its control. No responsibility will be taken for the consequences of actions undertaken to maintain the integrity of the contest including, where appropriate, the cancellation of an entry as a result of the identification of any fraudulent activity in connection with the competition or prize draw.

Once a winner has been chosen all reasonable efforts will be made to notify the winner. In the event of UCAS Media Limited being unable to contact a winner within one calendar month of the draw or competition closing date, another draw will take place or a new competition winner will be identified.

All prizes must be claimed or, where appropriate, redeemed within a period of four months following the date on which the draw took place or the competition result was announced. Glastonbury tickets prize draw
Closing date: 12 noon Tuesday 26 May 2009

1. The prize consists of a pair of tickets to the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts Wednesday 24 – Sunday 28 June 2009.  

No accommodation before or after the event is included in the prize. It is the winner’s responsibility to find a suitable pitch for their tent at the festival. No camping equipment is included in the prize; the winner will need to provide their own overnight facilities. UCAS Media Ltd accepts no responsibility for ensuring the winner has adequate overnight equipment.

Transport to and from the festival and all the associated costs are the responsibility of the prize winner and their guest. UCAS Media Ltd will not accept responsibility for any costs incurred as a result of attending the event or failure to attend the event.

Five winners (each receiving a pair of tickets) will be selected at random from the yougofurther.co.uk and yougo.co.uk websites by 2pm Tuesday 26 May 2009. UCAS Media Ltd will expect to notify the winners by 5pm Tuesday 26 May 2009.

Winners will be personally notified by e-mail. The e-mail address used to contact the winner will be the non-university email address yougo currently holds for that member. It is the yougo member/entrants responsibility to ensure the email address yougo holds for them is current. This can be updated via ‘edit my profile’ and then the ‘settings’ tab on users profile page. In the event that the notification for whatever reasons, has never reached the winners or the winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these terms and conditions, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner selected.

Should the winner not make clear to UCAS Media Ltd (by not responding to the email) their intention to claim their prize by 12 noon Friday 29 May 2009, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner selected.

Tickets are intended for the winner and their guest. It is the responsibility of the winner to supply UCAS Media Ltd with their name, address and contact telephone number. Winners will also need to provide the name, address, and contact telephone number of their guest. By entering the competition, winners agree to their name and contact details being passed to the organisers of the festival for the purposes of prize fulfilment only.

UCAS Media Ltd accepts no responsibility for any personal injury or death or for any personal items that may be lost, stolen or damaged during the festival or on the journey to or from the festival. 

UCAS Media Ltd accepts no responsibility for any problems experienced by the winner and/or their guest in relation to either gaining access to the festival or for any occurrences during the festival. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their guests to ensure they have the necessary documentation to gain access to the event.

2. By entering the prize draw, each participant agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of the prize draw.

3. Employees of UCAS Media Ltd and the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service and anyone connected with the production or administration of the draw are not eligible to participate in the draw.

4. The prize(s) shall be accepted as offered. In the event of the Glastonbury Festival for Contemporary Performing Arts being cancelled, UCAS Media Ltd reserves the right to, without any prior notice and at any time, withdraw the prize.

5. You may enter the draw only once. 

6. The result of the competition is final. No correspondence will be entered in to. UCAS Media Ltd and its service providers are not responsible for software or program malfunctions; failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections; problems accessing, downloading or submitting entries to the website; or for any other technical problems related to website entries. Altered, mutilated, falsified, forged or unreadable entries, or entries from automated entry systems, will be declared void. Only web-based entry forms will be accepted. Beach Break Live/yougo Green Team
Closing date: Monday 1 June 2009 (9.00am)

All successful volunteers are bound by the terms and conditions stipulated by the Beach Break Live festival. Please visit the Breach Break Live website (www.beachbreaklive.com) for full terms and conditions.

Volunteers will be expected to complete three six hour shifts during the festival Tuesday 16 – Friday 19 June 2009 or during the days immediately after the festival up to a maximum of three days.These shifts will be arranged between you and the organisers of the Beach Break Live festival. UCAS Media Ltd will not be held responsible for your shift pattern or enter into any dialogue pertaining to it.

All roles require a deposit of £94 payable to Beach Break Live. This will secure your position in the team and will be reimbursed by Beach Break Live within one month of the completion of your role.UCAS Media Ltd accept no responsibility for the payment or return of the deposit, and will not be held accountable should the volunteer’s deposit not be returned if Beach Break Live find due cause not to return the payment.

UCAS Media Ltd accepts no responsibility for any problems experienced by the volunteer, including the loss of deposit, in gaining access to the festival or for any occurrences during the festival. It is the responsibility of the volunteer to ensure they have the necessary documentation to gain access to the event.

UCAS Media Ltd accepts no responsibility for any personal injury or death or for any personal items that may be lost, stolen or damaged during the festival or on the journey to or from the festival.

In the event that the notification for whatever reasons, has never reached the volunteer or the volunteer is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these terms and conditions, an alternative volunteer may be selected.

Successful volunteers will be expected to follow instructions as stipulated to them by the Beach Break Live festival in their notification email.

UCAS Media Ltd will not be held responsible for volunteers found illegible to take up a role or for any who do not act as directed in their notification email.
