Can anyone tell me when the offical date is because i have been told its thursday 14th but then today someone says it is a couple days before this? Help please!!!

i'm getting mine on the 14th it might vary depending on where you are and what school you go to. contact your school xxx

it is thursday. thay may be a bit confused because the unis get them a couple of days before and your ucas *may* be updated the night before with wether you got in or not but. but the offical date IS the 14th :)

i think wat it is the offical results are printed out and given to ya on thurs 14! bt the university get to no ur reslts like couple of days before and they contact ya to confirm that you got a place.

yea, i think you can check on ucas before to see if your conditional place has turned to unconditional (if you only were given a conditional place of course) im going to be on holiday during these days... how am i meant to wind down! even though i belive winding down would be a hard task in magaluf anyway!

nah wouldnt b f*ed up cos ive got other choices if i dnt get into uni in the UK i can just sty home (Malta) n go 2 uni here or else repeat the year...not too bothered about it all..would b quite upset abt it but then again it would give me more time to study for my resits (which owould b in sept if i have ny)...hopefully not!! n hopefully i wont f up my holidays....fingers crossed aye!! haha

14th aug is the official results day for a-levels. If you think your school/college might be a different day check with them. UCAS update track from midnight onwards apparently so you can check your place that way before you pick up your results, but the site may be quite busy with people checking it.
When it changes to 'unconditional' UCAS will email you saying you have a status change, and that stuatus means your place has been confirmed by the uni.
