Why do you keep deleting our halls thread?

Mods any idea why everytime I start a thread on the Uni of Central Lancs forum for people living in Whitendale next year you keep deleting it? All of the other halls have threads which are left alone but the Whitendale one keeps getting deleted and I get emails saying it's not relevent? I'm confused....

Hi Danny

If you read the email thoroughly you will see that at the bottom there is an explanation about afety and security. A lot of users are getting carried away and forgetting that when they post their room numbers and flat numbers in a forum they are essentially giving out their address in a public forum which anyone can read. We do not want anyone's personal details to fall into the hands of anyone who wishes to use the information in an inappropriate way.

I understand your concern that it only seems to be your thread which is being removed but we are constantly trying to remove any such threads form the site. The best way for you to support us in this is by not posting your address in the forums.
