This afternoon we are adding a new 'email alerts' feature to everybody's homepage. You shouldn't see any disruption to the site when we begin at 2pm.
When we're done, you will have the ability to sign up, or switch off, email alerts when . . .
someone adds a message to your profile
requests to be your friend
when somebody joins yougo that's on your course
when you join a group, or other people join a group you are a member of.
