Hello My name is Nix, and i've just had my place at Hull Uni on the Advanced Diploma Nursing Course to start in February next year. Am hoping there any some other newbies on here??? I cant remember the girls names who shared the same interview day as me..... Bit scared of starting at this time of the year after most of the other students start this month. Hey, i'm starting the course in February too, moving up there from London, big change eh! I'll be living in grimsby whilst i'm up there so got that great drive over the bridge every day..hmm! lol Yeah, its all a little scary hey! :)

Hi All... Im Angie, I am local to Hull (though not born n bred) and will be starting the Mental Health Nursing in Feb - Im sure our paths will all cross at some point, but as the time gets closer, I'd be up for meeting up and breaking the ice before classes start, if u fancy.. :) Has anyone heard anything from the Uni a bout the occupational health medical or from the bursary people? Hi Angie I'm laura, nice to meet you! :-) I'm doing the Mental Health course in Feb too, we must be on the same one. Would be nice to meet up before hand, nice to get to know people before the studying starts! Not heard anything about the Medical or Busary but finally got my CRB check through last week, clear of course! ;-) Do you know when we're supposed to hear about the Medical? I thought it was this month but I could be wrong! Laura x

REALLY GETTING FED UP WITH WAITING TO HEAR ABOUT ODP STARTING IN FEB! AFTER GETTING ANSWERS THEN STILL NEED TO GET CRB AND MEDICAL SORTED. ONLY JUST GOT CONFIRMATION THAT UCAS APPLICATION HAD ARRIVED LAST WEEK AND MY INTERVIEW WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF SEPT. STRESSSSS!

NEWLIFE, are you a mature student?? i had my CRB back ages ago, but havent heard anything from them regarding medical checks or accomodation!

I haven't heard anything since i was told i was accepted, glad am not the only one!!! I currently in London but i come from Hull, so will be moving back home with the family..wooo!! Is anyone doing adult nursing?? xx

Yes mature,Live just across the water so wont be using accomodation.Just want to get started!

same here! like when do we register? when do we have the health check- m just happy that i have found someone who is on my course!!!! felt like a complete loner!!!!

AT LAST GOT OFFER FROM UNI TODAY IT IS GOOD TO KNOW AT LAST. BRING ON XMAS THEN LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL. DO WE HAVE TO ARRANGE OUR OWN MEDICALS?

I'm startin in Feb but for the ODP course, just got to sort my medical. Does anybody knwo how we arrange this, I've tried emailing but got no reply as of yet? I've already had a CRB but guess I'll need a new one from the uni. Is anybody on here from the AM interviews on 17th September? If so, add me coz I'd love to know who else made it onto the course!!
