Hey i'm new here! just found out afta loadsa waiting i got a room at Tapton. sounds ok to me, although i'm still terrified about moving away from home? in fact its fair to say i'm having srious second thoughts :( anyone feel the same? xx

Hey jade! I'm in tapton too, it's meant to be a really friendly and sociable hall, and smaller than the others so probably easier to get to know people. I'm nervous too, but think it won't hit me til my parents say they're leaving on the first day, my bottom lip may start quivering then! The best you can do is give it your all and throw yourself in at the deep end, and I'm sure after a while you won't remember why you were so worried :) bring on Tapton! x

I'm doing english language and linguistics, how about u? I've had a guess at what room I'm in from the front of the envelope from the accommodation people, telling us when we had to pay our deposit by and think I'm in 4B room 11? Not definite though! Are u going on the 22nd Roxxx? xx

Tapton, for the duration of my Maths degree. I'm from Middlesbrough,
and am a massive fan of the team. I expect to see as many of you as
possible in Bar One, taking advantage of the "Four Pints for £5.50"

Thanks Frances ur comments is really reassuring just wot i needed to hear! i'm feeling mush better about the situation this week, and i've found out one of my close friends from my sixth form is in tapton too which i think is fab! i'm studying history and sociology, thats a bit daunting because i've never done sociology before? is everybody going down to tapton on the 22nd, or the 23rd?? x x x x

have they got a tv there to watch footy. coz ill be watching arsenal. shame sheffield utd went down... i would have gone to watch arsenal at brammel lane..have to stick to burnley lol.

Hey ppl, im also moving into Tapton. Im goin on 22nd. There r not many ppl movin in there that i have found! I dont know a single person going to sheffield, let alone staying in Tapton so im gonna be a right loner lol
