Thanks Gi. Next question from Chris

I sent my grades to my first and second choices weeks ago and my Insurance has changed my status in Unsuccessful because I get few points less then their offer. My First choice doesn’t say their decision and I don't know what I will do. I'd like to know if I must seek another place or not. I tried to contact them by e-mail, but they don't give me any answers. Often I can't call them. How can I do? I wish some information concerning the admission. If they don't admit me I want to enter in Clearing Process. I haven't time because if I can't to start University in your country I have to start it here, but I must apply as soon as possible in Italy. Thanks

Hi there Chris. You should contact your firm choice and check that they received your results and ask them when they are likely to update Track. Universities are exceptionally busy at the moment but it will be better to call them than email them. I know its frustrating that you can't always get through but keep trying. It's your future after all. The latest that you can use clearing to apply for a place is September 20 2008. Good luck Chris.

September 20 is a date for your diary then?! Next question is from Chadni490

I can't login on my student finance account because I don’t remember the user ID or password and I don’t know which email add I used when I signed up. I tried to ring them but their phone is always busy and I can't get through is it to late to apply for grants?

The student loans company and student finance are completely separate from UCAS. Therefore if you have any questions regarding your finance application, you need to speak to the relevant company. I hope you get it all sorted and wish you luck Chadni490.

Is this good news for Anna?

I don't meet entry requirements for my firm choice university and today I got an e-mail from my insurance choice uni. "Thanks for the information - I am making you an unconditional offer" I would like to ask if that mean that I am their student now. My track didn't change so far. I must say that I am a bit confused now.

Hi Anna. It does sound like positive news. Once the university put their decision through and it shows on Track you will be sent a confirmation letter from UCAS called an AS12. if Track still hasn't updated yet, give the university a quick call and give them a gentle reminder so that you can get your confirmation. All the best Anna.

Hi there. Unfortunately I don't have any numbers because I do not know which exam boards awarded you your grades. Give your old college a call or a visit and they should be able to point you in the right direction. Thanks Ibba
