Hi Laura yep im studying chem at sheffield! Yeah im looking forward to going seemed like a really friendly city when i went for my interview. Just need to buy all my stuff now- theres really not that long till we go!

Yeah should be really good, i really liked the fact that people were willing to answer your questions at Sheffield in a way that they just didn't at some of the other unis i visited. Plus they seemed properly interested in the courses. Campus looks cool too. Are you doing the 3 or 4 year course?

Yeh i know what you mean. Im doing the 4 year MChem with a year in industry- but might change my mind about the year in industry once i get there. Which are you doing?

4 years and also not sure about the year in industry, although i'm swaying towards it mainly for the work experience aspect and finding out what its really like in industry, other than that i'm thinking about teaching possibly

Yeah the work experience would be valuable- plus the money would come in useful :P

 

Hi Carys :) will you still be in the same lessons as those just studying chemistry but will be doing separate maths lessons or are the interlinked?
