Well i got an ABB offer from Nottingham, accepted it as my first choice as soon as i saw it updated on track. I'm on course to get it but i'm literally feeling physically sick about getting a question i dont know the answer too in my exams. And i've got all these demons going through my head and i can't imagine having to go through clearing i wish you could do exams between June and Jan so you could have two goes at them cause the Junes ones you just get one go....

Just gonna revise like crazy and hope for the best.....Is it just me or does anyone else feel like this??

I feel exactly the same... Was practically crying over January exams, and I'm double blocking english lit this year, so I have no AS grade to work from in that, and I need an A x]!

The idea of a stupidly difficult question, resulting in missing my grade and having to go through clearing is exactly what is giving me a nightmare too. I'm revising loads for the exams and stuff, but I find that in an actual exam, even if a question looks awful, if I try planning it with a spider diagram and think of things I could possibly write about, it really helps because more stuff comes to mind. I don't know what subjects you do to know if that would help though!! And if revision gets just TOO stressful and not going in, tea and a quick break is excellent ^_^

Just keep reminding yourself that you CAN do it and you ARE set to get those grades =]

No, im really scared too. Nottingham offered me ABB as well! But my biology exams were absolutely deadly and i know for sure that i've mucked them up soo badly. And my AS biology mark was rubbish, so i have nothing to fall back on.

Do you think they'll turn us away if we got ABC or something instead of ABB? I really want to go to Nottingham and have got myself so excited about it - i'm just really scared that i wont get the right grades to go Sad

Im the same i stuffed up my AS so now im left with those to sort out as well as a2 exams and i need ABB. My exam timetable is stupid iv already had 5 exams and still got 14 left to go yet! I wish theyd get someone with some sense to do the exam timetables n stop them from putting millions of exams on the same day :(.

They do usually accept you one grade lower than the offer so you should be fine with ABC or BBB.

Well I don't have the exact same problem as in I can get into my second choice even if I completely fail the june exams but I really want to get into my first choice. I need BBC but it is looking a little sketchy. However my Dad says the universities have to be seen to be letting in people who didn't quite get the desired grades. I don't know if this is true for all unis so I would suggest sending them an email about it.

Eugh - don't worry. I don't think you're alone. I have to get AAA... and it's oxford so there isn't really any leeway. Thing is.. I havn't got higher than a B in two of my subjects so far this year :S just keep repeating: it'll be fiiiiiiine...

Arrrghh you are so so not the only one!! I've finished my exams now, but my goodness did I work hard!! I need AAA for English at Bristol, I'm doing 4 so I can afford to drop a grade (it would be nice if I didn't though)!! but I just hope my exams were good enough because I keep thinking back to them and getting paranoid that I didn't include enough detail etc.. I get major exam panic.  i had a memory blank in my English exam! It was so  scary.

Does anyone know if I have achieved mid A's for four of the other modules, what grades I would need in the last two modules to get an A overall?

Thanks,

Jess

ps GOOD LUCK everyone!! Just think of the summer! I don't know what to do with my time now. I finished yesterday and I feel quite bereft of things to do!!

There are alot of people who don't meet there grades they need and are stilla accepted so i wouldnt worry too much.  Besides stressing about it will just make things ten times worse, just try your best, thats all that is asked.
