The Independant Triumphant Army Of Northumbria.
TITAN is an independant union of Northumbria Students. As well as a social group, we are also there too look out for our fellow students. For example; Imagine you are a successful, hardworking student, living in student accomodation. You are doing well on your course, but you are struggling to keep up with the rent, and the university has issued you an eviction notice. You try to appeal, and ask for more time to pay, but your request falls on deaf ears. Ok, now imagine that same scenario, but with, say, 3000 students backing you up?
As Unversity students, we have a right to fair and proper treatment, and the right to enjoy our university years. Think about it, if all of us students suddenly walked out, the entire future of the UK would be crippled.
