Dreamers Dream
The infinite index within my mind,
Expanding exponentially, goading,
Like a quarrelsome wife,
Though positive like protons.
Rushing like the velocity,
The acceleration of a waterfall.
Heightening the prior peak,
Until earth is no longer my limit.
The neutron to my intoxicated,
Carbon-clouded current that we call
"Giving up. Now evaporated from
Liquid to vapour to air
Until it becomes one of the clouds,
In my dream, the awaiting mansion
Of euphoric ambitions settled
And presented on my life's platter.
