Decisions Decisions Decisions
When I was one, decisions consisted
Of whether to gooh or whether to gah,
Or burp when my Mama assisted.
When I was four, decisions were based
On whether to play with Barbie or not,
Or tie my shoes when unlaced.
When I was nine, decisions made
Were whether to put my hair in a bun,
Or simply to put it in a braid.
When thirteen, decisions included
Whether to slam the door in the huff,
Or whether or not my parents were diluded!
Nearly eighteen and decisions are tough,
Whether to move home or go to Uni,
Or whether I've done well enough.
But when I'm Sixty Six,decisions I'll pick
Will be my tatics for a game of bowls,
Or the shade I want for my walking stick.
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions,
will alter as we age.
