Fancy playing at a festival?

yougofurther.co.uk is on the hunt for the student stars of 2008 to appear at this year’s Glastonbury and Beach Break Live festivals.

yougo has teamed up with the organisers of the Glastonbury Festival to untap the cream of the country’s student cabaret talent.

We're searching for a trio of non-music acts to appear on the Queens Head stage at the greatest festival of them all during the weekend of June 27/29, 2008.

Beach Break Live, the exclusively-student weekender that sparked a bidding war on BBC’s Dragon’s Den last year, are on the look out for a band to appear on the weekend of the June 9/12, 2008.

The band selected by judge Andy Cato of Groove Armada to appear at the event in Polzeath, north Cornwall will rub shoulders with The Enemy, The Wombats and The Cribs.

”It’s clear from the site that there’s a wealth of talent on campus so what better place to expose it than at this summer’s big events?”

All acts are invited to upload a video, or audio file of their act in Exposure, the talent area of the site. The judges will cast an eye over every entry before announcing their decisions on May 6.

yougo will also be giving students who don’t make the cut an opportunity to win a pair of Glastonbury tickets every day for a fortnight in May – 20 in total.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for talented students across the country to perform at Glastonbury and Beach Break Live,” said Murry Toms, yougo’s Editor.

The festival exposure briefs will go live on Tuesday, April 1.
